Moving to Salt Lake City, UT

Well, it’s official, I have moved from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City! This last weekend we loaded the U-haul and moved our homes and my business to a new state. If you’re reading this blog, you probably care more about the future of Wahlman Productions than just me and Julie.
Still a Production Company!
Nothing about Wahlman Productions is going to change! Our company will still be producing photo and video content for brands and companies. I’d say the only difference is that I’m serving only Salt Lake City now, but thats not true. Just 4 days after reaching Utah, I hopped on a plane with all my gear to do a video shoot back in Los Angeles and at the end of the month will be doing the same again (as well as next month too). The take away is, whether you’re in Salt Lake City or not, I can still be the production company you hire.
I’m actually really excited to be moving to Utah because I feel like Salt Lake City is a better place for me to have a production company. First and foremost, Salt Lake City is much more of an outdoor and active lifestyle culture which is perfect since I focus on photo and video for outdoor brands! Second, Los Angeles is obviously the hub of film and video, which meant there was competition and other video creators on every corner. So in Salt Lake City, I’ll be a much bigger fish in a smaller pond.
